What a fascinating room Mike. After taking in the details, my eye is drawn to the candles on the table. Your scene has everything: bottles, a chair and table, clock, even a birdcage! Excellent modeling (and with a flair), lighting, rendering...and such atmosphere!

One of the best things is how a fairly small room reveals most of itself without distortion or blockage. The dumb question of course is if this is a candlemakers era where is all the light coming from? Perhaps the Rennaisance has already happened? In America there is only homespun. There is no Dark Ages.

I have no idea what sort of room a candlemaker would have but this certainly looks like a nice place to work. Excellent render, the wear on the seat is a nice touch.
