Description
I'm a beginner modeler and this was my first attempt at a humanoid figure. She is supposed to be cartoony and somewhat creepy looking. I plan on using her for a comic book as a model - I pose her, someone else actually draws her. Even though she'll probably never make it out of being a template, I wish to continue to improve her. I want feedback on what needs to be changed.
Once I added a bone structure I realized that her arms were a bit too long for her body. I know the hands need some work as well.
Please drop me some helpful advice.
Model was created in Wings and rendered in poser. This was the first time I was able to successfully implement bones, though there are many problems.
The pictures are in "cartoon w/ line" mode because I have yet to find a good way to render cartoon images in Poser that looks good, especially with this model.
PROBLEMS WITH BONES (any advice?):
-when twisting her hand, the forearm becomes distorted (notice left arm)
-When moving legs too far, the skirt begins to break up
-The knee cap acts a little funny when bending the legs (I think I just broke the leg in the wrong place for bending)
-I am not interested in problems with color/texture as of now; I did not complete the UV mapping process so some parts of her may be shiny when they shouldn't (parts of her right arm).

Great character! The eyes are indeed quite intense. With these proportions, I think she would look better if her neck was shorter - at least in the "default" position. She could, of course, stretch it to express curiosity, if that's what you want.
