Description

Talk about an old render...... December 15, 2002. Found in a folder of a folder of a folder in "My Documents" I know this isn't the best work I've done, but none the less I wanted to show the new users of Terragen that we all start somewhere, and the more you play around with this wonderful program...the better you get at it. To be honest with you, I cannot even believe that I rendered this... but it just goes to show especially considering what I've created since then. Anyway, good luck everybody... I hope you all continue to "Terra-Engineer" Thanks for viewing -Aaron T.

That's a great idea, Aaron! (I found an early one of mine - and nearly screamed!) Using TG is sort of an evolutionary process. Even so, this is quite good!

I'm thinking to stop with terragen, little bit frustated with my last renders (when water is good, terrain is a mess, sky is excellent, water looks sewage, so keep showing those horrible first renders, it is all I need to decide!!!! Well......I think I will try a little bit more!

I think this is pretty darn good! I like the light, colors, perspective and surface. Just goes to show you what a long way I have to go!

The more you play with the program the better you get is absolutly true. You have to learn to make your images large and complex in colors and layers. Pretend you are Slartibartfast and you are creating the fjords in the Netherlands. You can do it. :D Cheers!

actually it almost looks like a painting. Love the desert southwestern style skies and terrains.
