Description

Here's looking at you kid........ I went for a more faded rather than sharp image to give the piece a feeling of something emerging from the mist...... It was something I worked on after watching the 50's, 60's version of "War of the Worlds". I was particularly struck by the crap alien, and the way it lumbered from the darkness into the house our hero and heroine had taken refuge in......... I wanted to create something a little more sinister with a penetrating focal point........ Hope you like................. I use Open Source Software to create and produce my artwork..... This is because it is mostly FREE software..... For a full list of my current software take a look at my BIO on my HOMEPAGE..... I do use Adobe ImageReady for the final JPEGing..... I haven't found anything else that makes a low quality JPEG look quite so good..... I don't have a WACOM so for freehand I use my iPAQ to create 320x240.....

i really like the colors for this abstract, could be a bit more sharper though, at least from my view of the pc screen...

This is a much better War of the Worlds alien eye than the rubbish 50's 60's one. Have you seen the new version, that's sinister, and Tom Cruise is sooooooooo short.

Thanks for the feedback QUASIDODO........... I agree with you, Tom is quite short......... still a good film though, he plays the hapless feckless drop out well..........
