Description

First of all I cleaned up the unwanted background from the original photo... I'm using Paint Shop Pro version 9.0... Then I copied the 'cleaned up photo' twice more, so I had three layers... On the bottom layer I used the following tricks... - Effects->Edge Effects->Find All - Adjusted the contrast so the light greys are white and dark greys black Middle layer... - Used a blend mode of Hard Light... - Adjust->Hue and Saturation -> Hue/Saturation/Lightness to 0/75/5 respectfully - Applied a gaussian blue of 4.0 Top layer - Effects->Art Media-> Paint Brush Strokes (softness=30, Bristles=40, Width=10, Opacity=30) -Blend mode Hard Light & Opacity set to 40 Merged all layers and added my signature... Yes...but it's too warm for snow... It's the tail end of the Florida hurricane... It's about 50 degrees farenheit...

Nothing is lost and much is gained. The look is of Duo-glide, Hydra-glide and Electra-glide with overtones of way back in the bags but the master cylinder on the handlbar bringing it into more recent times. Crashbars and no windshield is a special type. The overall character washes out any middling details.

OHHH! THANKS A THOUSAND TIMES!!! I gonna add this one to my favs in order to try to reproduce this kind of effect. Either with the software I use, either with potatoShop if I install it one day... Bravo and thanx again for the lesson, maestro!
