Description

This is my son daring to give one of our 'mean' roosters a bite to eat. I was worried about who'd get the BITE, but I guess he has won the trust of this large bird! Thanks for stopping! Jodie :0)

Nice balance and tension, too, for anyone who's been around chickens which can be pretty nasty creatures toward small children.

Kuckelikuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!! Say what you will about those birds, including hens and chickens....but nobody should ever accuse them of being pretty. That skin-flappy-thingie hanging from their faces are just gross. Love this shot by the way. That particular skin-flappy-thingie really adds the color to this one. Excellent shot Jodie! Have a great humpday. #:O)

Wonderful picture and another story to be told. Looking at it, you have to wonder at the bendability of the young - I can't ever remember being able to fold my body like that so low to the ground! Lord knows, if I tried now, you would need an emergency service to get me up again!

It's a bit different than the way I used to play "chicken!" Times have changed - for the better!!! I echo Ray - this shot is a keeper.
