*Waving "Hi" to you all from upstate NY*
Hope you are all having a great week so far. We are still having rain here...ugh! I think it has rained every day so far for the month of October except the first weekend! Luckily, I did get a chance that Saturday to snap a few pictures of the leaves before the 40 days and 40 nights of wetness. ;-)
I hope you'll all bear with me while I upload a few of my favorites. :-)
Taken in upstate New York with my Pentax Optio MX4, postwork done in Paint Shop Pro 9.01.
Dedicating this one to my good friend Marlene; she knows why. ;-)

Maggie...you got a beaut here. I was thinking it may need a bit of cropping at bottom...but then who knows where to do it from. Now I like those reeds in there. I think Marlene will really like these reflections, and serenity of it.

Hi there candy!!! Waves back from the polar cirkle...sigh. This is a stunner of a shot!!! The exposure is dead on!!! I think this is the best shot ive seen from you, at least from a technical point of view. Its absolutely gorgeous and i need to disagree with Doug...i really dont think this needs cropping at all. I like how its mostly water, gives it alot of depth. The only thing i can think of that would improve it in my eyes, are the presentation. Just a minor change...I personally think that the dropshadow is too big and that the outer edge of the photo is a little too thick. All that is of course my personal taste and i know alot of people prefer long drop shadows....just giving you my 4 swedish kronor here. Gorgeous shot my friend, those reflections are simply put...PERFECT! Have a great humpday!!! #:O)

Well there is nothing wrong with this wonderful wiew maggie :) Here in Sweden there have been snow already at some places (even more south then i live),so winter will come with force this year i believe, but here it rain still though and i thank the weathergods for that :) Wishing you a wonderful time on whats left of October :)
