Description

Another delicious car for you all! I was playing around with vectors this time thanks to a tutorial in the Photo Effects mag - DVD edition. Please give me your honest opinion on this. I've tried to intersect the view thru the car with the vectors, you see with the tree and blocks for buildings. Still trying to find my feet, I know I can do abstracts successfully, but need to 'devolop'... Thanx for viewing and comments always welcome.

Love the reflections. Cool car. I know what its like to venture out of comfort zone. I love frog shots but needed a big change. Have fun finding your feet.:)

Sweet ride once again indeed!!!! Okay honest opinions you say...hmmm....well for one i think you should have really gotten down to a pixel-by-pixel level as you blended that car in. I personally dont like the blur around the edges. Blur is so not vector. You want sharp lines. And for the view through the car...well thats a good idea actually. I would probably have tried to overlap it with a darkerlayer, so that the highlights would still be there but you wouldnt see the background. Thats my 3 kronor at least. I like what you did, its really good and the colors match very well...just dont like that blurry outline...sorry. Have a great day Vera-Vroooom. #:O)

hmmm... here's my 2 cents of advice: 1.never have the same color of subject and outglow (red in this case) 2.well the car has enough curves so try compositing with its contrast in the background. after all life if filled with balance of contrasts right? :P if thats ur car im taking you out for a drive soon.. eventhough i hate chevy's

  1. the view in the rear window seems illogical 2. the edges of car should be "sharp" 3. colours are "too" competing...

Fair enough, thank for your honest opinions :D I'll tell you why the blur and red colour - coz I couldn't select the car to the correct potions and there were tiny sticky outy pieces, that I could see and they bugged me... I'll do better next time. I'm gonna have to ask you for some help thou Z :D And warlock love the 2 cents broken down :D

tiny sticky outy pieces you can get out with a hard 100% fade or erser in some programes. You can set it to diff ways ; just play with the fade brush and blow up the image as big as you need it to see good to take those tiny sticky outy pieces out... Look like you use the fade brush but it was set on soft.;;;very good work over all
