Description
The first cold winds and snow filled
Skies solidify Her.
The late autumn darkness of the early
Setting sun chills Her being,
For She has no soul,
And forces Her earthward once more.
Rocks and trees, rivers and streams,
Shelter Her.
The rising of the sun
Returns Her to a state of vaporous being
So She can travel the land
And fill the minds of men with terror.

Never mind the minds of men... she's doing a job on mine, as well! Love this series, Jack... even though I wake up screaming at memories of the Good Humor man. Well... it might have been the knife sharpener with his bells ringing... but either way... your images are provocative and conducive to flash backs of all kinds. It's all good, though... :) Kudos, my friend!

Love your birch tree study. Excellent conversion to B&W, I do think you might wish to try a duo-tone with the second colour being of a bronze-brown. Just a thought.

Hmmm. You know, the writing is really descriptive and provokes the imagination. I agree with Squeeka. I would like to see them put together in book form.
