BIOBorn 1964 i Denmark, I'm out of that sort of artistically gifted family that has one single member without one single talent... the unfortunate black sheep is me. I have been in various jobs over the years - I was a bartender for 10 years and have also worked in an office, a supermarket, as a cleaning lady in a shopping mall and for the past 10 years I have been working at a valve factory. (I did make a few attempts to get a decent education such as business school, one semester of law studies and a whole year of medieval archeology studies, but it wasn't the way to go for me.) I also have a son and three daughters, so I can't say that I'm bored in everyday life.. That's my other excuse for not trying to be creative until a few years ago when I started painting acrylics (which I'll never be good at. I can't draw either). I laid my hands on Bryce in March '05, and I'm still very much of a newbie with a perfect excuse for making crap and asking dumb questions ;)

YOU NAILED IT SWEETS!!! Well done. It looks great to me. I especially like the smoke from the cigarette. Very nicely done. Nice to quote the chat. People are gonna think we're crazy. Which we're not. Gotta go, nurse says it's time for my meds.

This is one of the better "room" pieces I have seen in a while. It is very crisp and clean, yet it still gives the proper mood. Without softening the shadows of the blinds you have still made them look great!

Great Job!

Here's looking at you(and your render)kid! I really like the "noir" feel to this. Lots of detail. Excellent stuff.
xenic101
That turned out really good. I love your attention to detail and perseverance. And now you know how to render in under a week.
FranOnTheEdge
You know, I followed everything except the bit about the swimsuit... Then I saw it was from RenderGods - explained EVERYTHING! LOL! Love the scene. Now you know your next one has to have a body and some blood!
Gog
Great results with the lighting Ek - it's turned out brilliantly

Nicely done, very nicely done. You have with your visualy as well as with your words created a work of art that is a modern day rendering of old gum shoe stories from the 40's that I find myself enjoying more and more these days. I particuly love the shadows on the wall from the window blines. Please consider a series based on this one. Outsanding work of art
