Description
An Illustration for a book I'm illustrating on Somalia. Children referenced from Photographs, outlined using paths and coloured in photoshop. around 6 hours work. I particularly liked doing this piece because of the expressions, these children obviously endure hardships like poverty, illness and hunger on a regular basis, they are doing hard manual labour in the image and let they still smile.
I wonder how many western kids would be able to put up with that and smile!
Anyway...good fun to do.
