Description

Once left the road I pass through a little valley filled with rosebay willowherb (Epilobium angustifolium), the one you've seen before in the Ginals-series, but I've never seen so many of these flowers together, reaching up to about 2.5 meters (8 feet) height! I'm dwarfed by these flowers, that I never have seen this tall. Shooting myself with little telelens is fun: putting the cam on tripod, pointing, clicking and there I run, 10 seconds time to take my postion and *click* there I am, as if I was waiting there a long time for the photographer to shoot.... :) Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 100 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

So nice to see you Jan-Carel ;o)))) and an excellent idea also to could really see how height are these incredible flowers ! Never seen flowers like these before ! For shure the good air of the mountains make them grown, and grown again ;o)))) Or maybe an alien flower ? I love them, its very impressive and with a gorgious color ! 10 seconds for run and take the pose.... a good performance indeed ;o))) Have a good day my friend ! Hugs.

Including yourself in the photo really gives scale to the flowers - otherwise they would have looked much smaller. The waterfalls I shoot are the same - much, much bigger in real life than they look in the photos. This photo is a terrific capture, and thanks for the sprint to share it!!! :)

Me neither, never seen those flowers blooming so abundantly and in that numbers and size. Indeed you seem to be nothing more than a dwarf :-)))Great to see what you look like Jan Carel.
