How cool is this???? This is an actual tree!!
I am really bummed! I had taken a picture of this tree back in June or July and had made a really scarey picture that I was hanging on to for Halloween. When the computer crashed it took it with it! I hadn't backed up the finished OR the original! Gone!
So I had to drive back out to the tree and take pictures again and hope they came out good. Well the lighting wasn't the same, but I took this picture and did what I could!
I blackened out the background with a brush tool. Then I put a diffuse filter on it. I added just a hint of color to the area that looks like a tounge. And enhanced the eye area! Then I found a speciality brush that made the little glowy eyes in the darkness. All in all it was a fun project! I hope you enjoy!

Awwww... that is too bad about losing your pics!! I would be very upset and always put my originals on CD right when I upload them to my comp!! But, I must say this is a perfectly AWESOME picture you've created and perhaps the light was even better when taken later in the season like this! I can't imagine it being any better than this...hehe Excellently seen and your postwork is fantastic!! Love this spooky tree ... and the little eyes!!! ooOoOOOOOoooooOOOOooh hehehe Love it!!
