BIO
My name is Gerard and I'm a Senior Software Engineer at my country's (Belgium) Post Office organisation. My main job is to work on the creation of a central Customer and Contract database (Oracle DB) and setup relations to other application using various technologies (Database Links, Java Web Service, ...).
My main hobby is creating 3D objects and images using 3DS Max and Poser. My roleplaying days gave me an interest in medieval times and lifestyle and that led to an interest in reconstructing models of ancient buildings and furniture with 3DS, then using these models in Poser.
I'm also a regular Guild Wars player.

Ah yes, some professionals take their 'professionality' just a bit too far ;) Thank god you got some good footage, cause it would be horrible to miss such a great event. The cover looks just amazing, very sweet image and I'm sure the DVD will turn out just wonderful!

Some people think having equipment makes them videographers; I hope he refunded his fee. Anything, even seemingly non-technical work like writing (my persistent favorite), requires more than just a presence and technical knowledge. Good work requires dedication, attention, appropriate action, attention, a continual desire to learn, attention, and in case you didn't catch it, the "pro" must pay attention to what he's doing and to the events that are memorable. :D
