Very good, I like this. The expression of the dog is marvellous.

Nice one . . . to me the dog, background, and texturing really stand out as high points in this futuristic scene. I agree 100% with joaq on the wonderful expression you gave the dog. Those that will only click for a nude image cheat themselves out of seeing imaginative artistic renders like this. Nothing wrong with tasteful nudes, but there is more to art, as you have shown here. This is a very nice render. It could eaisly be past of a Graphic Novel, comic, or a poster. Would like to see an alternative render with shadows turned on, the dog inched a little in the Z axis and away from the edge in the scenes floor, and Blind Guardian's suit changed a bit from black so it can be seen, perhaps just with a specular highlight colro of blue or violet? Then again these tiny things would not improve this impressive render very much if at all, as it tells a story very well! You get an "A" in my art class . . . Excellent!

THANKS! heh, i made my little statement because my last SciFi image only got 20 views or so and was a bit fed up that people wouldn't even bother looking and then i started to think my stuff was s$&*. but it ain't and i suppose SciFi isn't everybody's cup of tea and thank you for your very kind and encouraging words. i've nothing against cuteness or nutidy, i do them myself as well. I will redo it someday, i was running out of floor for the dog but he would have been into the chair if i moved him any closer. the Guardian has different colours and sheens but i thought being inside i'd turn the sheen off. The interior is a strange prop in that if i added lights it got darker and i would have had to add propably 4 or so lights around the figures just to lighten them up. thanks :)
