All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others ...
First test render with Carrara 5 Beta! In this image Ambient Occlusion was used instead of Full Indirect Lighting and I can say that the render was MUCH faster!
I do not know whether it is a beta problem, but during the render the image was full of white pixels, especially at the soft shadow borders, so I was really afraid of losing the whole work because of this beta glitch. Fortunately the saved JPEG was OK and here it is :)

Very nice image! Smooth DoF! Excellent lighting! Have you used the new displacment mapping feature? Only, it looks very similar to 'Anything Grooves' displacment with slightly clumpy edges.
