I am going to tell you the first thing that came into my mind. When I was a little girl, I used to play Jacks. You bounce a ball and pick up the jacks by ones, twos, etc. while the ball is in mid-air. This reminded me of the game. It also reminded me of how mad my Dad used to get when he came home from work at 11:30 pm and stepped on them in the dark! YIPES! Cool. Thanks for the memories.
