Description
The Ruffling has made a strange alliance with a Torrik. In the shape of a giant black stallion, the Ruffling carries the Torrik on their murderous missions into Thorin lands. The warrior, Kabeis, and his warrior mate, Lorpay, are attacked, and Lorpay is seized. The Ruffling, however, is thwarted when it tries to trample Kabeis to death. Kabeis throws the knife to Lorpay, who kills the Torrik with it and deeply wounds the Ruffling. It runs screaming away.
Almost there, we bring you the twelfth in the 13 Days of Hell contest open to the admins at DSA. Once more the inspiration for this piece comes from The Saga of Kalakakin featured in the 1997 calendar featuring the art of Boris Vallejo and commentary by Philip Jose

whoa number 12 already! seems only yesterday it was beginning S and what an entry this is S Great job on the posing of riders and horse (always tricky to get that just so) and the stealth of the warrior as well S Amazing werk on all of them so far - I just know 13 will be a grande finale indeed S
