Description

) THis is NOT a photo manipulation or any kind of blending other then a few final touch ups around the apron hair and table for a more finished effect... It's my daughter dressed up as Alice under an actual real table . Poor Alice! so so dissapointed and sad ,because she now is simply is too small to reach the key!!. This one took alot of work. Janel my 11 year will be Alice in wonderland this year for Halloween. so -I knew of a store down in Canoga Park ( Frys electronics- great techie junkie store) that store just happens to have an Alice in wonderland theme. And props all over the store!..So yesterday I spent much more than I wanted to for a real Alice costume . SO -Janel dressed up and took I took her down to the store . In this pov here She is under the store prop alice in wonderland table table. And if you look you will see the key is up high thru the glass table. So I tryed for a soft light and a sad look. I have some of her looking up at the key but couldn't seem to get all of her face. Lewis Carroll is one of my VERY favorite authors and I love his creativity ,infact over the uyears his writing and ususal whisical things i read he did made me light up inside !!so always wanted to do something like this. I did over 100 shots of differant alice adventures. We were not allowed in the store to take pictures. BUt somehow with a little begging I mangaed to get permission from the store manager. Lucky DAy!.. we were walking around and Janel felt like a movie star in there , Mother s of children were pointing saying " oh look there's alice kids!! and then store people were sayin' things like " oh hey ALice we have missed you"...!! it was fun!! love you all (((big hugs ))) , ♥ ~ Kimmers! :O)

What a delightful shot kimmers...a little hard work and hustle always pays off...you would think the manager would jump at the chance to have Alice in the store for a while..if only to entertain the customrs while they shop, a happy customer always spends more money! []/;^)

Such a fantastic photo..... only one thing wrong with it - you let the cat out of the bag! If only you'd been a little creative with the truth, and let us think this was a manipulated image, we'd have been wondering how you did it for months & months & months!! Very Lewis Carroll, very mad, and very, very good! Regards, Steve.
