Description

I remember wanting a pony when I was a little girl. When my Dad let me ride one like this, I fell in love with it...for about 90 seconds. Then I had to leave it. Worse still, I would have to see another child climb on him and ride. I used to stroke the hard plastic mane as if it were real and imagine myself chasing the wind! To me, this little painted pony is still beautiful. It is also a little sad. How many children have sat upon his back, yet he never belonged to one of them...longer than 90 seconds.

Nice sense of antiquity, not that we are really that old! My kids loved riding anything like this and we spent lots of quarters along the way. Maybe you should buy one of these and put it on your porch for all the kids to visit. Great shot!
