Description

The town in which I live Lagos, Portugal, has a medieval festival every year and that time is upon us again. The whole town is transfered with blacksmiths, jousting, fools, lords, wenches the whole thing. You can't help but be swept up in the whole mood. Now I'm no Photographer but I took my olde Canon A400 out and took a few shots today. You have to tip your hat to this guy who will spend the next three weeks mooching around town looking like this. I'm crossing my fingers that those wounds are no more than very good makeup. If not, you've grossed me out big time. Reminds me of those Phillipinos who volunteer to be literally crucified for a few hours by way of an annual Christian ceremony.
