Description
Achelousaurus("Achelous' reptile") is a ceratopsid herbivorous dinosaur genus from the Cretaceous period of North America. The first examples were described by Scott D. Sampson in 1995; the species name, A. horneri, is a tribute to paleontologist Jack Horner.
