Description

I could`nt think of a name for this fractal ,the best I could do was pigtails .If you can come up with a more suitable name I`ll be glad to change it .I envy artists who find such beautiful names for their fractals ,for me that`s always a problem . The official name for this kind of pattern is a gnarl....But I don' t know you like it better than the pigtail...They do look like them;-)))

Titles are a problem, but they also give an insight into the intentions of the artist. Normally, I feel a picture is incomplete if the title and my image don't grow together. In this case the centre mesmerises so I would have gone for something to expresses that. "Pigtails" does the opposite, of course, so I tread badly (as usual). Anyway, a nice symmetrical design. Oh and thanks for the ideas though I don't own PS and have just uninstalled Elements so I'll leave the thought on "ice" for the moment. Cliff.

Sure looks like pigs-tails :) So the name suits great .. even it might not sound so romantic :) .. Love the colors in this ! The other day I saw a lizzard with a pigtail .. but know .. that is not solving any name-problem :))
