Description

I drew the inspiration for this one from the 1922 movie- I first stumbled on it in the late 70's; it's quite a visual experience, even though it is a very old silent film. The image of the actor playing the vampire is pretty creepy, and I wanted to create at least one image for the halloween season based on it. Poser 4 for the original figure (male in overcoat); 3DS Max to elongate and build the high collar and ears; Terragen for the terrain; photos of a rubber rat; the castle and moon are from photos as well. Photo Shop to assemble it all. Many thanks to Lledeline for the use of one of her fine castle images. Have a great Halloween, and stay safe.

As old as that film is, it's still something to behold. You've done a wonderful job drawing from it's inspiration! Love the lighting!

Oh, YEAH! I remember HIM! Don't know how I missed this one. Great job of this! I could tell who he was at a glance. He was frightening, wasn't he? What a great composition, and creation! Sorry I am so late with this.
