Description

This is a piece that reminds me very much of the type of art that enthralled me when I was between 10-11 years old. Somewhat dark, inaccsessible, open to interpretation and rich. This image always emotionally effects me when I look at it. The title is just a working one that reminds me of how barren I was when I was young feeling like I was looking at the work of some master artist who knew how to put the thoughts of a barren mind into art. I would call that man, and the works he produces the Baron de Abstractia. I like how the word play works out so I might keep this title.

Great abstract! I like the barren, cold and sparse vibe you conveyed and the organic, "tree in winter" feel. Well done!

Yes it does look like a wheat plant although I've never seen a real wheat plant before. Excellent. Aloha

I like your words and feelings regarding abstract art! For me abstract art sould be one of how it impacts the viewer and less of trying to describe what it looks like! Barren is perfect, wheat? :)

(laughs heartily) All my friends think it's wheat too. But I can't comment on what it is to me and what it was when I made it on the chance that I would wreck it for someone else. I think this is one that's very open to interpretation yet can be a very specific thing to any given individual. I have a picture I am working on though that's connected to this that will probably make my vision of this picture more clear, be it good or bad.
