Description

well, it's been a whole year since my first posting to the Poser gallery. A very scary event that! Since then I have had impure thoughts, I've lied, I've... oops, wrong speech:) What I mean to say is that, since then, I have been grateful for the kindness and support shown by the members of this gallery and challenged by the great art that appears here day after day. I hope that I have improved over the year - I've done a couple that I was quite happy with at the time - and I also hope that I'll get even better in the coming year. I would like to take the opportuntiy with this simple render to thank all those who have stopped by, whether to leave comments or just to take an anonymous peek, and to those who have added either me or one of my efforts to your list of favourites. I am grateful for your interest and for your support. Particular mention must go to some of the faitful attenders who leave encouraging comments week after week - some come here occassionally but some all the time. Particular mention goes out to: Dawn, Rose, Terrace, Cathy, Christoph, Tamela, Jay, Christine, Glen, Erik, Dudley, David, Donna, Cal, Mike, John, Lon... sorry if I've missed a regular, but thank you all! here's a big "cheers" - Alan

My sincere congratulations on year first anniversary here! Time flies by so fast, and I wish the rendering time would follow suit! LOL! I will certainly toast to this grand occasion and I hope many more years to come sharing artwork and learning new tricks! I'm guilty of not stopping by as often as I like as life is really draining my time lately, and I always feel bad for that. This is a spectacular image, and I don't know what defines 'simple', but this really came out awesome! A beautiful and most elegant character, she's definite dressed for the big event! Love the materials on her black dress and the wine and glass is fabulous! I'll toast to that! The lighting is very well done and I'm getting into my tuxedo as I speak! LOL! Outstanding work and congratulations!!
