Description

Morning Swim . . . (work in progress) If this had wet skin it would have been submitted under realism. She does have some water in her eyes, but her skin and hair should be wet even where it is not in the water now but was earlier. Gotta find a way to do that, but thought this was still worth sharing. Also, her skin bump seems a bit coarse, even though a 2048x2048 map was used. Her facial expression is an attempt to show breathing while swimming. Do not think it is 100% yet either, but did make an effort. Any specific settings or pointers on how to do better at wet skin or swim breathing face poses in Daz Studio would be appreciated. Nice job Mike, I actually like the way the water is going into the eyes. The breathing is not far off. Wet hair..now if you can do that...that would be awesome. Great render overall.

Great start on this!! I can almost feel that water near her eyes! I agree it needs "wet" but no idea how to do it. For the breathing, hmm.. trying to visualize.. would the mouth maybe be wider? Or rounder? I guess it depends on which poibnt oin the breathing you are catching. The eyes.. maybe vary the open/close, eye poeition (looking up more?), play around with it, you'll find just the right combo I'm sure. Excellent work, looking forward to the rest!

Looking good, Mike. Have ou tried a reflection map on her skin? Use a jpg of a reflective watery image in the surfaces menu under reflection color. It might work if you can find the right image.

Fascinatin image Mike, the watery effect is really very good, love the open mouth, and the lite and shade, wet hair? sorry no suggestion cept that which has already been made, a layer of water from a jpeg image of the sea or a pool, mask it in places, or use it over all, try it in diffrent ways, sure it would work, Eccellent wip V Lina
