Description

Yesterday I installed Google Earth (free downloadable at http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html) and I was stunned to be able to move around the Eggishorn as free as a bird. Some call that 'to fly' :) And when I think about flying free around I think of Sheila, who just like me loves to fly around as free as a bird. So here you go, this one I dedicate to you, Sheila! Zooming in on this glacial highay we can see Konkordiaplatz, the location where three distinct glaciers come together. The side moraines of the glaciers originating from the left and the right remain visible on the Grosse Aletschegletscher as the two dark trails in the middle of the glacier.
