Looking really terrific. I would like to make a coup[le suggestions. THe clouds looks a little blurry and low quality. I think maybe the water reflection should be a little lower and more spread. I would like it if the overhangs on the window (red and white stripes) where a little less saturated. I also think it would look great if the barrels were less similar. . .maybe a little more broken and worn looking. Also, some more moody lighting would help everything to pop out. .more shadows etc. I'm being really picky because it's so fantastic! Bravo.

I love the sky, this is coming together really well. Superb.

Really nice mood! I love such pre-storm weather. I`m not sure if the lighting meets the sky look... Or maybe some other problem makes the surfaces look a bit unreal. Also the pavement stones seem far too big-they are as big as the barrels! The builders should have at least a good lorry strong crane to make such a paving:)

Looks like everyone ran because the volcane in Pompei is about to blow. I would love to have that scene as a .obj or ,dxf model. Hint Hint. Keep up the awesome work.

Beautifully done, reminds me of the engravings of Piranesi.

looks good, good modelling.. only thing is its starting to look like a 1700's smudge of colour. The oil painting it looks good on, because its oil, but a render is sharp and crisp, so 1700's aged oil colors make it 'dirty'. Id leave the painting behind and go for a real italian light, which is warm and bright a the same time. maybe some casting shadows. One more thing. Colors that are close to eachother in range, make a colour-contrastless image - which gives it the 'this painting should be cleaned' look. The bright red sunblockers on the left building look great to me, because of the color-contrast... the blue in the water also references to a bright blue sky. If the water looks like it reflects the sky you can implement the sky more...just my opinion, ofcourse, good luck man

I don't think I could add to what the others are constructively saying except keep up the good work! I would be hard pressed to duplicate this EXCELLENT rendering. I am sure you haven't finished, there will be people in it as well as horses, or other work type animals, no doubt. VERY GOOD PROGRESS!

Great job for this Wip. Just had a look at the painting you started from and if I can give you an advice, but it depends on how you planned your work, I think you must be carefull with the lighting on the building to the right which draws the eye to the side of the picture instead of the center of interest. Darker corners to the bottom etc...like on the painting would help too imho, anyway you did an excellent work and I am looking forward to seeing your next step. Thanks for sharing each step :-)
