Ultrafractal 3.02 and 4.01 - sig and high pass/vivid light sharpened with Photoshop 7
I've been in sort of the mode of going back and re-visiting some of my older stuff. Got messing around with one I made in '03 called "Season of the Witch" - http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=519917&Start=55&Artist=Rykk&ByArtist=Yes
I'd started just messing with the coloring of the "spells" or balls the "witch" is tossing out into the world and ended up changing the background, too, so I figured I'd give this one a new name rather than "#2" since it's a good bit different - better? It got kinda darker and spookier - go figure, a day (or two) late and a dollar short for Halloween. What a slacker! lol
Heading out 2day for an "emergency" safari to Sanibel Island for a quick few days of shelling - woohoo! Only 2 weeks left until I have to go back top work so this is my last chance for a long while. The tides are lined up just right so I'm heading out to see if I find a junonia this year. Wish me luck? Linda, I'm thinking of you and Mike especially now since we both love the place - hang in there!
Thanks for stopping by for a game of "marbles" - lol

WOW - a visually stunning cosmic composition , Rick ! I like the way in which 3 of your most beautiful orbs are so elegantly held by the metallic sheets . Great star sky and a fantastically intricate floor that effortlessly spreads to infinity ! A truly wonderful picture .......... C-ya ... Mike !

Maybe the birth of a new creation myth, a witch based cosmology would be kind of interesting. Beautiful work, technically and artistically!

This is enchanting, not really spooky but spacy. I like the way you hide part of the light reflection on the ground with the dark grey foreground object. It is a pity that you have to go back to a 40 hours day job, but one day you may get out of bed and go to your fractal work with whatever you wore in the night-lol-as I did today. Hope you found a junonia as a consolation!
