Description

Hey all! Okay, this is the last one.....I think. ;) #5 in my series is a close up of the seed in a pomegranate. Yummy. So, hopefully you enjoyed my pomegranate series. I had fun taking the photos and making a series of it. Thanks for all the wonderful comments on my last upload, #4 of my series, my first real attempt at still life. Seems it was the most popular of the series AND it just happened to be my *100th upload* in the photography gallery. YAY! Okay, I'm done. ;) Thanks for looking and comments/suggestions are encouraged. :)

I still dont know what that thing is...initially i thought a pomegranate was a pear or something...clearly it isnt...sigh. Beautiful still life once again with perfect POV and light. Have a great day. #:o)

Since I once specialised in table top still-life photography, I can understand the joy and frustrations one goes through. There are several asspects I like about this image, but there are also several no-no's. Because there is light between the two halves, I feel like I want to venture there and I exit the image. It needs to be toned down so the focus remains on the front. Having said that, The seed closest to us is in the center, another no-no. Sorry. Suggestion. Shift the camera from zero degree or 12 o'clock to 1 o'clock. We will then lead from the seeds right into the current right Pomegranate and then to the left and back to the seeds.
