Description

Photography made by Giancarlo in Autumns 1981 in Emilia - Italy with his manual camera Canon F1 (the original shot was a slide) No postwork, only framed with Photoshop 7 In the series of the Trees of Giancarlo.... This one, always in his Emilia Region, is very particular because of this incredible mist. A very nostalgic and powerful shot that means a lot for me. Tonight it's my last post in the Gallery of Giancarlo for several weeks... As I told you I'm going in Thailand for 3 weeks, to meet Davide, the younger son of Giancarlo in Bangkok, for one week, and then the 2 others weeks, I've find a small Paradise, in the middle of the Jungle, near the Cambodgia. 2 weeks to live in peace in a different way, far from the "civilisation" and I hope in perfect harmony with the forest. For me it's not a simple touristic trip, it's more a spiritual one, I need to live in another way, and I know that in a wild Nature, it would be easier for me to find a little peace, just a little, and to try to find myself, and to find also the spirit of Giancarlo... So I wouldn't comment and see your photographies since I'll came back at the end of November. I'll miss all of you, sincerly. You can't imagine how you are all important for me, and how your friendship help me every day to have a little less pain.... Take care ! A beautiful misty photo. I wish you well on your journey. BTW, I believe Giancarlo is in these trees. Trees are symbolic of 'man/men/mankind'.
