Description

Actually, I'm getting ahead of myself with that title. This is a view of Fell's Point. The big city pier we've seen before from Canton. Broadway is the name of the street running up the hill away from us behind the Pier. This is not far from the neighborhood with the Polish credit union which is now a Latina hairdresser shop. A very eclectic neighborhood... nothing matches! Some of the old buildings are clearly visible as is one of the large tugs that hang out around City Pier. The red-brick building with a cupola is the old portion of Church Hospital. Just to the right, out of the frame, is a schmancy waterfront development with marina. The water taxi has stops over there as well. I think those radio masts are going to be 'trubble.' Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

Dang. About that title. There is a hostlry in Fells Point called: The Admiral Fell Inn. Fell is the name of the family that opened a shipyard here way back when. The original CONSTELLATION was built here. Indeed, the Fell Shipyard was a major 'attraction' for that British fleet trying to get past Fort McHenry.
