Dear Visitor,I've joint Renderosity in Sept. 2002, while being active for several year I have made a lot of wonderful friends here and I'm still in contact with a few of them. Was elected for AOM in July 2004. Well, since I am Site Administrator on Photo-Genesis my time is just too limited for being active on RR. I just drop in once in a while to say hello to my friends which I miss! If you want to know more about me... the interview I've done for R'osity in July 2004 is to be seen here Feel free to also visit my personal website  Monika Wolf Photography

Very evocative Moni, it is sad to see the dates on childrens graves, and think it moves everyones soul to read them, Time was when there was no doctors, hospitals or medicne to make them well, now is better, but still wars and neglect still have there way. V Lina

A sad tale and with young kids something I find hard to think about. Still, a lovely photo Monika. :)

That is sad, Monika. Where my Dad is buried their are tomb stones of children who died from polio. It is so sad. They are all saints in Heaven now.

Yes is sad but that is life. Having two of my babies die in my arms at one hour old i can relate to this sadness and memories this photo brings. One of ours has teddy bear and the other has a rose. Alec and Rebecca. But life goes on but we learn to grow from sadness and enjoy the happy times more. Life is too short to live in what might have been. Takecare Moni

Das gibt Anlass zum nachdenken und das Leben wieder einmal mehr als ein Geschenkt zu sehen!

Theres something very heartbreaking seeing a childs grave, and you stumbled upon alot of them. I saw your photos in the forum and even though its really sad its also wonderful to see all the love and effort being put into "decorating" those graves. Thank you for sharing.

It is a very touching photograph. I share with you your sensitivity of seeing these final resting places of the babies. In India, very often, we are told that God takes away some of the babies early because they are blessed and He does not want them to suffer in this world. They were born just to go through a rebirth to expatiate the sins of their previous births. I know this sound very spiritual etc. I, personally, feel that the people believe this here just so that they can attach a positive significance. But this picture of yours is, in fact, a very touching one, no matter what interpretation you give to it.

A very touching photo with high emotional impact. It makes me think of all the millions of children who have been prevented from being born due to laws which allow abortions! A sadness beyond belief.

I know what you talking about, my wife has such kind of feelings often, she told me that you emailed her about this. She is not well lately, so she send you her greetings here, she don't comment others. I know we must see the things we have, and if you lost somebody then you realize how happy we must be with our own family. Nice pictures

I too understand your feelings when you came pon this site. Your reflections are perfect as we should remind ourselves that others are not to so lucky in seeing their child grow up. Thank you for sharing and bringing a sense of ballance to our lives.
