I really like the colours. If you'd blurred the background people a bit, then the background a bit more, you'd get more depth and the foreground figures would stand out even more. I like it anyway it was just a thought.

I think this works the way the focus is set, what electricbill says is true, doing the soft background focus would move attention forward, but that's somewhat a different interpretation I think. What ever I like the postwork, and street photo is almost always interesting.

Thanks for your opinions and advice. I really considered blurring the background but then I decided to leave it like this and make the separation using the colours: while everything is basically blue and red, the focal point (the girl) is yellow. So I think that adding blur would have been kind of redundant.
