I like it, I always liked dynamic images. Where ther is something going on. I gather you have your critter boned, so may I suggest that if you should do another render like this. Animate a head jerk to the side of the shark and have the victim move in unison. Apply some motion blur to the scene and render the final frame of the head jerk motion. This would blur the sharks head as well as the victim. Giving the frame even a better look.

the blood is a particle effect using hypervoxels (the only post in the whole image is a little smudging on the dorks hair)
