Description

This is the third scene I did with Terragen. I'm experimenting with the heirarchical textures. Pretty fun stuff.

Very nice work. Small suggestion for your settings change the gamma setting in the "Render" options. I believe its the second tab. :) Lovely POV and surfacing.

Thanks to all for the nice comments. ppetersen: I know the gamma is quite high, but I'm trying to get the distance haze while keeping a late spring/early summer feel. If I turn the gamma down, I get a more dreary look. Any suggestions? BTW, I haven't done any post-render processing, and I'm not very experienced at image processing so that may be the answer.

I lke the water and classic pov. Agree with ppeterson about the gamma, the depth may be made with a denser hazier atmo instead of the kind of washed out look of gamma at 2.0. Also, this pic is too big for many of us to view without scrolling. Resize to 1000X750 and sharpen one step for better resolution. give us another!

Are you looking at this on a Mac? I don't see a problem with the gamma. Excellent pic! Very realistic.

Thanks TBBBBs. On question though: why would viewing it on a Mac make a difference?
