model looks good, but the lighting does not. Faking Gi is a tough job, so i'd stick with 2/3 lights for the scene. One for sunlight, one to fill the scene and one centered in the room - where the usual light is. Maybe a couple of spots on the 'desk'. Or use Vray/Brazil... maybe Max's own GI renderer.. good luck

Yes, he his right, the model looks good but... Adicionaly you should try changing the dimension of the texture used for the floor: as i think it is a external one, but it is not exactly simetrical; (or you use 3 diferent polygons for the floor).
