Description

It's early morning and one patrol returns whilst the other forms up ready to go. Possible attack is looming from neighbouring factions so the walls have been reinforced with more archers. The stable hands prepare the horses for the soldiers and take the horses from the soldiers who return. The castle is is one of my projects at the moment and what you see here is the courtyard, which is the first place you come to when entering the castle. The stables in the background are from castle evolution. The textures are from the 'World Matters' collection (highly recommended.). The cottage is 'Nord House A' from the freestuff The hut is also from freestuff Thanks for viewing.

Beautiful! Did you render everything at once? Or do you have grouped some of the crowds in some way to cut down memory size?

the background is exquisite, it has a renaissance feeling, like a Piero della Francesca painting. The foreground is a bit flat, try to play a but with some coloured object in the market, or maybe change the shadow colour. It's a good image btw, very inspiring. Looks like a hard work. (p.s. correct the texture on the top of the left walls)
