Description

Looking down from the Eggishorn on the place where the Grosse Aletschgletscher is bending along the Eggishorn parts of the glacier crumble into a collection of lumps of ice. The size of these lumps can be compared with the people on the right, the three dots on the right. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 150 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

The three red dots just up from the lower right corner? Woo. At this time of year is the glacier front in retreat? Does it still boom off huge chunks during the summer months? Questions, questions. Great shot, JC.
