I took a ride down to Bombay Hook, Delaware today. I have been working on my flight shots, I hope you enjoy this image. Comments and critques are always welcome!

Oh my goodness! My many attempts have resulted in "me too slow" to get the shot or the bird too far away when the shutter was pressed. This is a magnificient shot. Thanks very much. I looked for artifacts from sharpening, halos and such. I do not see those. Well-done. I do not rate images and make comments only. I say this so you will understand.

my, oh myyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!! the frozen moment was obtained by others as well, but the incredible tones of the blue heron against the blurry blue backround makes a superb composition! v

very well caught. looks very prehistoric like this, maybe because herons normally fly with their necks folded ?
