Description

Wow! If you've never been to Death Valley, California, USA, you are missing one of the wonders of the world. Yes.... it's only dirt and rocks and some plants, but the Lord did a mighty fine job of mixing those things all together. I have been going there at least once a year for almost ten years now and I never cease to be amazed at what I might see. And NO, I've never been there in the middle of summer when it's 120 degrees or more (I have enough sense to stay away)! LOL :P As it was, it reached 92 degrees while we were there on Wed 11-2-2005 and that was hotter then I thought it would be at this time of year! I didn't get too many good pictures, but I will post a few. Thanks for viewing and commenting on my posts! I really appreciate it! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Beautiful! The upper left part of the sky reminds me of a wave. Looks like a stunning place to view the sunsets :)

"I didn't get too many good pictures"...bla bla...PFFFFT!!! Now what do you call this one???? Get a grip Kim, this is waaaaay cool!!! I just adore that sky and seeing those tiny people beneath it only makes it looke even more impressive. "i didnt get too many good pictures"...jeeeez....SMACK!!! There ya, a gentle "tap" across the head for minimizing your talent. Im glad you had a fun trip and that you made it back home safely. Death Valley has such a bad ring to it so i couldnt help worrying. Have a smashing sunday!!!!! #:O)

Gorgeous sky and sunset! This is an awesome picture...love the people in silhouette like that. Soooo romantic. :-) I'm looking forward to more of your pics of this strange land called Death Valley. As always, a wonderful presentation and framework too.
