Heads Up People:
I want to thank those of you who added me to your favorite artist/images list. I consider it a HONOR, owing to the fact that I'm not here to win "popularity contests."
I busted butt for 3 years to get where I'm at artistically speaking. I'm very comfortable in my 'artistic sense' and I got to that point, because owing to spinal cord injury induced loss of mobility etc., I'm pretty house bound, and I treat being artistically creative "as my job" in an effort to preserve my sanity. I'm not getting personal here out of a self pity trip; but so people can better appreciate/understand what I do.
I have said from day one, "I know Sazzart isn't for everybody" & my target audience has always been people who enjoy ART, be it mainstream or not, that evokes a mental reaction beyond the "eye candy" aspect, especially if it shows up in your comment. My biggest gratification comes when a viewer takes time out to drop a comment; this's more important than a ranking.
All my designs have a point, reflect certain beliefs, life's experiences, or a 'train of thought'' as a pictorial storytelling. I use real life models due to the fact, that I happen to prefer 'anatomical correctness', yes I know the folks at Creative Labs Poser 6 came up with a good software, and many artists are doing good works with it; BUT, and this is why I'm using Cordy's hand stand pose, she shows musculature, anatomically correct detailing & texture. NOTE that I'm not saying the real life is BETTER than a software generated model; I'm saying I prefer real life from a 'correctness' perspective, which from MY personal preference, is more aesthetically pleasing.
Also, I use mjr's model/photography work for various reasons, but the most important is his sharpness. I have no, and don't care to have any, say in the type of models he uses, how they're posed or dressed. His model work, beyond the High Quality sharpness, is what keeps me artistically challenged & motivated, which I then post for people to enjoy or not, the make like a TV tuner, yanno?
A final note: Some of you, in one form or another, have gotten to know me personally. You know, I never set out out to make anyone look bad, THEIR own behaviors did that, or 'hunt people down' as one paranoid gallery less critic accused me of doing. I've been blessed to make some VERY NICE friends here-YOU know who you are; I'm posting a design tomorrow-I'm human after all, that reflects my response to certain very unsavory characters that tend to project their 'issues' etc on me in one fashion or another. I say this, so friends won't be offended.
Thank you & SEMPER FI

I alway felt that God did not create me to please anybody or everybody. Even if I tried I would not succeed, so I do not try. I just try to plase myself and those I care about, my loved ones, because I know that if I fail they will forgive me. So, to my friends Thank you, to my enemies, well you know what!

I never heard of Sazzart but I like what I see in your gallery. It seems a mixture of different things. I really love the retro look to the background and the model standing on her hands. What a great imagintion here! Wonderful artwork. Maria

Planes positioning, colours and perspective are awesome!!. This image somehow reminds me when I was a boy and had a very high fever once. Some of the hallucinations were quite similar to this...but no Cordula was there!.lol. Like I said on previous comment, real models are a matter of choice. Great stuff is being done on Poser which has the great advantage of working with a 3D object, and the almost total freedom for posing and creating characters. Now, when anatomical accuracy is a desired goal, there no possible match for this!

Saz, this is outstanding! I have Poser, have only barely opened it and looked around a bit. I agree with what you say, your use of real models adds so much to your art. The human form is beautiful! Male and female. I look at this and you can see such beautiful muscle definition! The muscles and hollows in her arms, the little dimples in her shoulders, the side of her neck corded, the pull of muscle in the back of her left thigh. All the nuances of the body that I have yet to see in poser generated images! This is exquisite art and Cordula is a wonderful study of the beauty of the female form! Leann
