Description

This was my entry in this years Halloween contest and I thought Id upload it to my gallery. I had allot of fun with it and learned how to do some new things in the process too. All original models, the stars, jack o lantern face and the hands and face in the window were done in photoshop. I haven't been around as much lately because I had to have unexpected Surgery a couple weeks ago and Im still recuperating and can't sit at the computer too long. I am on the mend though and getting better each day so hopefully before too long I can get back into Lightwave again.

If you spent a bit of time working on the lighting, put some foreground elements and used a little bit of dof this could be killer, I think you should rework this a little bit and really make it do justice unto itself.

Extremely cool. If you ever decide to play with this a bit more, try to eliminate your postwork by layering your textures in the different channels, perhaps even a star filled dome?. I'd also suggest a slight dutch angle to your camera and a wider angle lense for the slight eerie distortion. Terrific work... and please do get well soon. :o)

Thanks everyone for the comments and great tips. If I ever decide to play with this one again I will put your suggestions to use and will definately keep them in mind for my next work when I can get to it.

Wonderful piece of work. This really has more of an organic feel than what we usually get out of CG. The beautiful textures and lighting work well, and effectively!
