Description

This a redo of a gallery image posted last year. This is less "dramatic" in contrast, offering more texture and softer mood. The trees are very old, standing sentinels at the second home of Thomas Jefferson, famous in the establishment of America. These trees were what size when the home was constructed in the state of Virginia? Who knows. Today, the trees are still standing since the late 1700's, old sentinels of a time past. Image taken with an old Minolta DImage F100. Converted to greyscale in computer.

Gorgeous pov of these old grandfather trees. Nice contrast in light and dark and good "silent" mood.
