Description

"Thousands of years ago, the ships that traversed the oceans of the Earth were powered by the wind. Today, though sails have long been replaced by the electric motor and fusion drives, the notion of sailing still holds a great deal of romance. Thus skysailing was born. Within many large Gas Giants, the fierce storms are enough to give any thrill seeker the ride of their life." It's been too long since I've done anything in 3D. Comments and critisims welcome as always.

i like the balance between your 3D work and the thing you want to show... you're not 'only 3D thinking"... Looks great, i think. The nice shades of purple heavy blacks and cool design.. The triangles really jump out... cool image. very complete.

Your lighting and composition do evoke a sense of romanticism. A bit too much purple for my taste, but that's not much of a critique as it is nitpicking. Wonderful modeling. Would be good to see more, please. :o)
