Chantilly is a very beautiful town (50 km north of Paris) entirely dedicated to the horses.

Maybe you know its name because of the famous "crème chantilly", a wonderful cream served with a lot of desserts. But I was very disappointed, no crème chantilly in Chantilly! Instead of cream, I found a lot of places dedicated to horses: a racecourse and a museum, where you can see real horses with real and elegant riders, and a lot of rooms with pictures, materials... everything about the horse.

This museum takes place in "les grandes écuries" built in the XVIII 's century. Yes this is not a castle, this is only a stable! I let you imagine how beautiful the palace can be!
