Hi, RR friends. Just got my internet up since the move. I really missed all of you. I'm still very busy unloading boxes and shopping for furniture and other household goodies. I haven't had time to be creative lately, so all you're going to get for a while will be recent pics of Ghost Ranch. Today's pic is from the top of Chimney Rock. The sun was real low in the west, so I have some long shadows and nice red tints to the mountains. The tree in the foregrd is a pinon tree which I have been told is one of the oldest living things on the earth. I'll have to do some research, but for now we'll go with hear-say..Sounds impressive. I'm sorry I won't have a lot of time to comment on your works, but I'll do my best. It sure is great getting back with all of you. Maggie, I hope you have been behaving yourself...LOL... Enjoy Today

This is beautiful and the tree really frames it. I was out West many years ago and the colors and rock formations are so beautiful!

Good to have you back. Welcome. You have come back with a brilliant picture. Love that gnarled tree. I believe you when you say that it is very old. The colours of the landscape are awesome. The wispy clouds look very nice too. Excellent shot.

Wow, fantabulous capture of this wonderful landscape with that tree adding so much to the compo! Is that a bristlecone pine!? Those can be one of the oldest trees of the world! :) Excellent work!
