I see dates and aircraft types F86D?, F-5A with a beginning in 1946 and I wonder is it Thailand? and MAP? or some test pilot advancing to break the sound barrier while sustituting Sidewinders for the traditional widows gift of two Sparrows. I lived through the "light weight fighter" (LWF) and guns only controversy and the DDR&E focus on the ZSU-4 and the German Geppard so having an interceptor and missileer decorated with the symbols of another era is no surprise. F-4's are often used as target drones now. Still good to see her, this survivor of a fleet of over 5500.
