My name is Paul, I live in Adelaide (Australia), and I'm just about to hit the big four-o. I spend way too much time using 3d applications like Poser and ZBrush2. Being a (no-postwork) realism nut, I have developed a number of realism tools for Poser, and the skin shader scripts for Poser are avaialble here at Renderosity.BIOA couple of useful links...

GREAT EYES AND TEXTURE.

The lighting and skin are awesome. I'm not a big fan of Miki's hair props so I suggest using Jessi's dynamic hair instead. Keep up the excellent work :)

PapaBlueMerlin said exactly what i was thinking. :) the face is so good, and it makes you wish the hair was of the same quality.

The eyes are really perfect, used the random props so far only for glossy paint... For position them i view through an camera from the top. Very intreresting infos in the link, i make shadowmaps normally not bigger than the rendersize, must test if bigger maps pump up the quality. The shadows from the hair here are superb. ~Uwe

Too true about the hair. Better hair would really enhance this image. Her skin is great, the shadows and her eyes especially are fantastic!

Very nicely done. Certainly an eye catcher. Cheers!

I must be in the minority here, Paul, because I like the hair. Unlike some modeled, trans-mapped hair, there doesn't seem to be any obvious 'baked-on' highlights in the texture. I think the shadows on the bangs are too dark/thick. The eyes are PERFECTION. Might want to put a subtle bounce light to the left (her right) without shadows to soften that dark edge along side the nostril/cheek. Skin looks real good.

I think that your 'experiment' worked out extremely well - the eyes are wonderful. And, by the way, so is the skin texture (as yours always are!).

Absolutely perfect eyes. Just fantastic.

Wow...does she look real. Fantastic Eyes. Excellent work. What does Occlusion master do ? I cannot quite get a handle on it. Excellent Image and fabulous without postwork. *****

This is pretty astonishing. I'm finally back on a sreen with res so can see at last. Cropping the top of the hair off would have fixed everything. Shocking how far advanced her eye mats are, hey? Sometimes less is more. I can tell you think so too as this is your biggest post yet and your best. Left eye needs a 3o s to side.

Another fantstic render, the work on the eyes looks so good. Steve:)

Overall, nice work. Her eyes and the skin around them looks awesome: however the skin around her lips and nose doesn't look as real.
